Nature-Positive Pathways: Valorizing Agrobiodiversity for Resilient Food Systems
On 10 December, in Room 4 of Palazzo Pilo Boyl, a seminar will be held to present the ongoing activities aimed at strengthening the role of agrobiodiversity as a strategic element in building resilient and sustainable agri-food systems.
The initiative is part of a project coordinated by Carlo Fadda, which promotes “nature-positive” approaches focused on biodiversity conservation, the restoration of degraded landscapes, and the development of circular economies at Alliance Bioversity International and CIAT.
These actions are aligned with international goals for climate resilience and social equity, with the aim of generating transformative solutions that benefit both communities and the environment.
The seminar will offer an overview of the research activities and the preliminary results achieved so far, as well as the strategies for stakeholder engagement, highlighting how these processes contribute to the transition towards more sustainable agri-food systems.
